Scheduler - Urban and Regional Transport

About the Role We are looking for a Scheduler to join our team, with flexibility offered for either part-time or full-time positions. This role also includes the option for hybrid or remote work from one of our operating depots in West Auckland or the Wellington region. As a Scheduler, you will utilize our Austrics scheduling software to create efficient rosters and schedules that balance driver needs with operational efficiencies and constraints. You will collaborate with our Operations teams across New Zealand to optimize existing schedules and implement customer-driven changes. Additionally, you will develop schedules for new service opportunities within Tranzit and provide guidance to enhance the reliability and punctuality of our services. Requirements To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who have: - Experience using Austrics scheduling software. - An innovative mindset to develop a variety of scheduling solutions. - Scheduling experience in compliance with New Zealand legislative requirements. - A positive track record of working with Regional Councils and key stakeholders. - The ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a dynamic environment.
