About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our team following an internal promotion. This role demands proven investigative and enforcement abilities, along with a solid understanding of the Resource Management Act, the Criminal Procedures Act 2011, and other relevant legislation. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively manage complex investigations and prosecutions from the initial interview through to the conclusion of the court process. While experience in the agricultural sector is advantageous, the ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues is essential. Adaptability under pressure in a fast-paced environment will also be key to success in this position. This role presents numerous challenges and offers an excellent opportunity to apply a diverse skill set while deepening your knowledge of the legal system. As part of Environment Southland, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our region's natural and physical resources as mandated by the Resource Management Act 1991.
