About the Role We are excited to offer a full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced Food Service Manager to oversee the Food Services at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waitemata. This role focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-efficient food services, while optimizing financial returns for Waitemata Food Services. You will also work to provide excellent quality and choice for both staff and consumers. In this position, you will collaborate with professional colleagues and the District's contracted Food Service provider to advance the District's strategic goals for future service initiatives. Additionally, you will have access to various internal learning and development opportunities and may apply for funding for external courses and conferences. We also offer reimbursement for registration fees, annual practicing certificates, and professional membership fees. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have: - A minimum of three years of experience in a food services management role - In-depth knowledge of the Food Safety Act - Experience in a Clinical Dietetics role (preferred but not mandatory) - Strong leadership and negotiation skills About You We are looking for a candidate who: - Is a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current practicing certificate - Has the ability to navigate and connect within a large organization - Can manage both detailed tasks and strategic planning - Is highly creative and committed to providing exceptional learning experiences Working at Health New Zealand At Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, we are committed to delivering excellent healthcare to the people of New Zealand.
