About the Role
We are seeking a Civil Construction Foreman to lead full site operations from start to finish. In this role, you will manage crews, oversee subcontractors, and work closely with the Contracts Manager and Works Coordinator to ensure daily targets are met. This position is hands-on, and your willingness to actively participate on the ground is essential.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in civil construction and possess the following skills:
- Ability to read and act on high-level plans and specifications
- Confidence in managing teams with varying skill levels
- Comfort in planning milestones and daily targets
- Experience in completing site documentation, including Toolbox talks and quality assurance
- Proficiency in running crews and overseeing subcontractors
- Experience with trenching and shoring
- A Class 2 license (or higher)
Safety and quality should come naturally to you. Additionally, it would be advantageous if you hold a Civil Infrastructure Pipeline Construction & Maintenance certification (or equivalent) and can effectively motivate, mentor, and upskill others while thinking creatively and exploring new methods.
