About the Role We are currently seeking a Claims Performance Analyst for a fixed-term position in either our Palmerston North or Wellington office. In this role, you will provide expert technical data analytics and advice that will help us maintain and improve the performance of our products and operations, with a specific focus on claims data. Your responsibilities will include managing claims data used for reporting and analysis, delivering reports that facilitate the understanding and management of claims performance, and implementing and updating models and associated reporting to track operational trends in claims. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should have at least five years of experience in the financial or insurance industry, with a minimum of three years in an analytical role. A strong understanding of insurance policies and packages is essential. Familiarity with the Guidewire suite and business analytics tools such as SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Enterprise Guide would be an advantage. We are looking for someone who is positive, proactive, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment. This is a fixed-term opportunity that will last until March 31, 2026.
