About the Role We are seeking an HVAC Mechanical Service Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients’ HVAC systems operate smoothly and safely. Your work will involve hands-on maintenance, repairs, and installations, all performed with precision and care. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively, providing quality service that adheres to industry standards while prioritizing safety and efficiency. This position will allow you to leverage your skills in the following areas: - Conducting planned and remedial HVAC maintenance, installations, and trade assistant duties in a safe and effective manner. - Cleaning air filters and performing minor repairs or installations as directed by Supervisors or Service Coordinators. - Delivering all work to professional commercial standards with enthusiasm and attention to detail. - Managing your time flexibly, including the possibility of after-hours work to meet client needs. - Maintaining a safe working environment for yourself, your team, and our clients. - Upholding and promoting our company’s values and guiding principles. Requirements We are looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications: - Relevant trade qualifications (preferred). - A current unrestricted New Zealand Driver’s Licence. - Experience in HVAC, labouring, or general handyman roles. - Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and OH&S guidelines. - Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset. - Confidence in using hand and power tools.
