About the Role
We have a unique opportunity for enthusiastic Baristas to join our team at the Air New Zealand Lounge in Wellington Airport. This casual position offers flexible hours based on business needs. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating memorable experiences for our customers through exceptional coffee service and friendly interactions.
Your Responsibilities
As a Barista, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing warm and welcoming customer service, responding to requests promptly.
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages while managing till operations.
- Assisting with general cleaning, dishwashing, and other related tasks.
- Supporting basic food preparation and presentation.
About You
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:
- A hardworking individual with a friendly, outgoing personality and a positive attitude.
- Ideally, you should have experience in a similar environment and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be willing to train for one.
- Barista experience is essential.
- Ability to safely lift up to 20 kilograms.
- A team player who can also work independently.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a genuine passion for great food and quality service.
