About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Outdoor Adventure Specialist who is fluent in both English and Mandarin. In this exciting position, you will lead outdoor adventure tours and manage client bookings, while also customizing itineraries to meet individual needs. You will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our Chinese-speaking outdoor market.
This role is both physically and mentally demanding, and it requires resilience and a genuine passion for outdoor activities. You will be responsible for providing safety briefings, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all clients, and delivering high-quality customer service to our international and Mandarin-speaking clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading outdoor activities and supporting multi-day outdoor expeditions.
- Managing customer inquiries, travel bookings, and itinerary planning.
- Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives aimed at the Mandarin-speaking adventure travel market.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of three years of experience guiding outdoor adventure activities, such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, or hiking.
- Training in outdoor leadership.
- Valid Lifeguard Certification or Wilderness First Aid Certification.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin, both oral and written.
- A high level of physical fitness to engage in outdoor activities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on cross-cultural sensitivity.
