About the Role We are currently seeking a Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Dunedin and Wakari Hospitals. In this permanent, full-time position, you will work a variety of shifts, including mornings from 7:00 AM to 3:35 PM, afternoons from 3:00 PM to 11:35 PM, and nights from 11:00 PM to 7:35 AM, following a 4-on, 2-off roster pattern. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors. Each shift will present unique challenges, requiring you to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and demonstrate compassion and empathy in difficult situations. While previous security experience is preferred, we are open to training the right candidate, leading to nationally recognized security qualifications.
