About the Role We are currently seeking a Butchery Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training within a supportive management structure, along with opportunities for personal development. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a quality range of butchery products while meeting our standards for quality, freshness, consistency, and profitability. You will play an essential role in the preparation and presentation of butchery products, ensuring an appealing shop environment, managing stock movement, and preventing wastage through effective product rotation. We value teamwork, so you should be able to collaborate effectively with others while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high levels of customer service are crucial. The role requires a strong physical capability, as you will need to lift weights ranging from 20kg to 25kg regularly throughout the day. Additionally, you should be willing to assist with organizing and putting away delivery stock, and be available for extra hours if requested by the department. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
