About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Agricultural Machinery Technicians to join the team at one of New Zealand's leading agricultural equipment dealerships. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing a diverse range of modern farming machinery. You will work with advanced equipment, assisting customers both in the workshop and on-site, ensuring that New Zealand's primary sector remains operational. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: - A background in mechanics with experience in agricultural or farming machinery, including brand experience and/or training. - A relevant automotive trade qualification or equivalent experience. - Proven experience in working with tractors and other agricultural machinery is preferred. - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. - Familiarity with modern agricultural technology and electronic systems is preferred. - The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication skills to maintain clear and professional interactions with customers and the service team. Benefits We offer competitive pay rates ranging from $34 to $40 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and additional benefits. Training will be provided to ensure that your technical skills remain current, allowing you to further develop your abilities and create opportunities for career advancement within our dealership network. A vehicle will be provided for field service duties, and this is a permanent position with a minimum of 40 hours of work per week.
