About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join one of New Zealand's premier mechanical and HVAC solutions providers. This company specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of complex piping systems for large-scale commercial and industrial clients across Auckland. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining system integrity. The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $30 to $38, which is negotiable based on experience. Additionally, employees will receive 8% holiday pay and Kiwisaver benefits. This role includes a consistent Monday to Friday work schedule with opportunities for overtime, and a reliable weekly pay cycle. Duties In this role, you will be responsible for: - Installing and fitting commercial piping systems, including chilled water, condenser water, and steam. - Working from technical blueprints and ISO drawings to ensure precise installation. - Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to meet required specifications. - Utilizing various joining methods, including welding, brazing, threading, and Victaulic grooving. - Conducting pressure tests on systems to ensure safety and compliance with New Zealand standards. - Collaborating with site managers to meet strict project deadlines. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should have: - Proven experience as a Commercial or Industrial Pipefitter. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings. - A valid Site Safe Passport or a willingness to obtain one immediately. - Current New Zealand working rights. - Reliable transportation and your own basic hand tools. - A strong commitment to New Zealand Health and Safety practices.
