About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated Clinical Advisor to support our GP registrars in training (GPEP 2, 3, and 3+) and nurse practitioners who are new to working in general practice (first-year NPs and NPs transitioning into primary care). If you are a General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner with recent primary care experience and a passion for developing and supporting the general practice workforce, we would love to hear from you.
This role is part-time at 0.2 FTE, based in the Southern district. Occasional travel may be required. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a comprehensive package of support that complements the existing training provided by educational institutions and the RNZCGP.
Requirements
- Current or recent experience as a General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner in primary care.
- A commitment to supporting the development of new healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to our work environment.
