Being a vital part of New Zealand’s vibrant horticulture community is something we value deeply. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team at the Reporoa site. This full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of loaders, our mobile screening plant, and excavators. Your commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity will be crucial in keeping our site organized and orderly. You will collaborate closely with our current Team Leader, who is dedicated to supporting our Reporoa development site, while also providing assistance to our locations in Nelson and Invercargill. Although our Head Office is located in Invercargill, we ensure a strong connection with our wider team, who are always available for support and guidance. Key Responsibilities - Operate loaders, excavators, and mobile screening plants efficiently. - Load and unload trucks in a timely manner. - Perform minor maintenance on site equipment and engage with contractors as necessary. - Utilize downtime effectively by maintaining site cleanliness and completing additional operational tasks. Requirements Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - A current Class 2 license with WTR and F endorsement, along with extensive loader experience. - A self-motivated and hardworking attitude, capable of working independently. - A reliable, dependable nature and a strong team player mentality. - A mechanical aptitude and a solutions-focused mindset. - A commitment to prioritizing safety in all tasks.
