Despatch Team Member (Fixed Term until 2026)

As we approach our peak season, we are looking to expand our racking crew to meet the increasing demand. About the Role We are currently seeking a Despatch Team Member to join our dynamic and energetic team. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for processing and preparing outgoing stock for delivery to stores across Aotearoa. The position offers a variety of tasks and requires a strong commitment to accuracy, speed, and adaptability. As a member of our Despatch team, you will find yourself on your feet, actively moving stock, solving problems, and ensuring a smooth flow of goods from our DC to our customers. What You Will Be Doing - Stacking and prepping pallets with items ranging from 1kg to 30kg - Sorting stock by barcode and store - Picking items from our fast-paced conveyor belts - Using RF scanners to track inventory movement - Prime moving and pallet wrapping - Closing, labelling, and preparing stock for despatch - Operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and strapping machines - Bulk picking and stock consolidation - Responding to last-minute changes and providing support to the team as needed This is a fixed-term position until mid-January 2026, with shifts available Monday to Friday at the following times: - 6:30 am – 3:00 pm - 7:30 am – 4:00 pm - 8:30 am – 5:00 pm The hourly rate for this position is $30.28. Please note that this role is primarily to support our peak period through January 2026. Given the busy nature of this time, we may not be able to approve extended leave, particularly around Christmas and New Year. Additionally, we do not operate on public holidays. Requirements We are looking for candidates who: - Are physically fit and comfortable being on their feet throughout the day - Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy - Can communicate clearly and work effectively within a team - Are able to work independently and maintain focus on tasks - Are adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment - Have previous warehouse or distribution centre experience (this is a bonus but not required) To be considered for this role, you must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
